Ah Sunday, we meet again. I guess I can’t complain because I have Monday’s off but I don’t think I’ve ever shaken off the dreaded Sunday feeling I used to get back in high school.
Not too much happened this week, beside me getting super sick. Once one person gets sick in college, everyone gets sick in college!
Here is a recap of this past week! Enjoy!
Tuesday was spent in class all day and planning out my day. However, once I got home is when I really started to feel sick. I had woke up with blocked ears and a sore throat but it really hit me after class. So I decided to catch up on Once Upon A Time on the couch and then took a short nap. I woke up and did homework of course!
I went to the doctor on Wednesday and sure enough they told me I was sick. I had a fever too so I came back from the doctor and put on comfy clothes. I sat down and wrote two papers and did some homework as well. It felt good to be productive!
Ah, Thursday… I woke up for my 8:30 class and still had a fever. I felt really horrible and couldn’t breathe/move. I was kind of freaking out because I had two papers due and a quiz that day. Luckily, my professors are awesome and let me turn the papers in online and I’ll be able to make up the quiz! So I sat on the couch/in bed all day in sweatpants and didn’t leave the apartment.
I still felt sick but decided to get up and do something. My friend Katie and I went to the Christmas store in Boston looking for some tinsel (FYI they didn’t have it). We also had a Greek Retreat that day. There was a guest speaker named Ed Garrity who was awesome! He is so motivational and I even teared up during one part of the talk!
I slept a lot and didn’t move from the couch. It was very relaxing but I still feel really sick. I’m writing this at 1:30 am because the sinus pressure is just too much for me right now!
Also, I needed more blankets so my mom took a trip down here and brought me them andddd she surprised me and brought Toby for a visit! I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had any time to bring him down to stay with me so it was her first time in Boston! The stay was short but it really brightened up my day. My little babe always makes me feel better! Thanks for the surprise mom💙
Hoping for a productive Sunday! Have a wonderful day!
