Healthy College Grocery List

Eating healthy in College can be a challenge, especially if you’re relying on the dining hall for your meals. When I was in college, I was a really picky eater and would pretty much eat the same meals every single day. It wasn’t until I moved out of the dorms and into an apartment where I tried to branch out a little bit and cook foods that were good for me.

When most of your meals are coming from the dining hall, it can be hard to stay on track and make healthy choices. I know I ALWAYS chose pasta over chicken when they offered it, and this can lead to the dreaded freshman fifteen.

Although I’m not in college anymore, I now work somewhere where my meals are provided for me each day. I found myself falling back into the same routine that I was in in college. I keep choosing pasta over fish or a salad and it’s starting to affect me! So today, I’m sharing a healthy college grocery list that can be used when living in a dorm, living in an apartment or even for after college!

Now remember, I’m not a nutritionist and I’m still a little bit picky when it comes to food. So, this is a list that I would try to follow (with a few things I actually don’t eat added in there).
